Avatar ST - Free Ambient Vst Plugin

Avatar ST is most suited for a large variety of pads, soundscapes, atmospheres or related FX sounds but can do other sounds like e.g. certain kinds of basses too.

The 16-Step Modulator allows sounds to be fairly rhythmical in various ways if required. Also you can have one section step-modulated while the the other is not as there are two complete sections with oscillators, modifiers, VCA EG, Delay, Pan and Reverb send, plus a grain processor and a multimode filter to be inserted via different audio routings. In addition there are a lot of modulation options you might select from in order to tailor your sound.

Mork - Free Ambient Vst Plugin

Mork is an analog-style synth that can be used to create soundtrack-type sounds. Designed for deep, low PAD's or spacy melodies, it can also produce convincing storm-sounds.

* SINE/NOISE switch selects the waveform of the secund oscillator.
* MIX knob sets the mix of the 2 oscillators (fully counterclockwise= only oscillator 1, fully clockwise= only oscillator2).
* DETUNE knob detunes oscillator 2.
*OCTAVE and SEMITONE selectors affect the pitch of oscillator 2.
* BENDRANGE selector effects the range of the pitch-wheel for both oscillators.
* PORTAMENTO changes the portamento-time (glide between notes) for both oscillators.
* ADSR knobs control the VCA (volume).
* 8 sliders control the delays. There's 4 delays on the left channel & 4 on the right(delay-times & repeats are fixed, the sliders control the mix of each delay).
* AFFECT knob sets the overall mix of all 8 delays.
* FUZZ increases the distortion of the fuzz. (fuzz-effect is very velocity-sensitive & therefor highly responsive to playing-dynamics. * Since the fuzz-circuit is hooked up after the delays, you can have it set to where only some of the repeats are distorted).
* FUZZ MIX sets how much the fuzz-circuit affects the signal.
* RECTIFY button rectifies the signal coming from the delays & is hooked up before the fuzz.
* HP/LP switch selects the filter-type.
* CUTOFF controls the cutoff-frequency of the filter.
* RES controls the resonance of the filter.

Mopar - Free Pad Vst Plugin

Mopar combines a phase distorsion oscillator whith a soundfont oscillator to produce cool pads or more...Osc1 has 8 waveforms (saw, square, pulse, double sine, saw-pulse, reso 1, reso 2 and reso3).
These are the waveforms you obtain when the modulation level is at its maximum. At its minimum, the oscillator produce a sine wave. The modulation level can be modulated by a filter and by the LFO. Osc2 has 6 waveforms (choir, brass, accordion, organ, dream and strings). Mopar has a polyphony of 4 or 8 voices, receive midi data on channels 1 to 16, , has pitchbend and velocity sensitivity, Mopar responds also to those midi CC : ? CC01 : raise the Modulation level. Mopar comes with 16 cool internal presets. These presets are also available as a standard VST bank file : "Mopar bank 0.fxb" (in the zip file with the dll).

Alien Space Weaver Pro is especially made for spacey or dark athmospheric , backgrounds and FX sounds.

One oscillator contains 75 very special samples i.e. fairly long ones being created from various images providing very spacey sounds from the start already. Umbra is basically a Waveset of 128 complex waveforms as SF2 plus a specially designed VSTi Synthesizer / SF2 (Soundfont) player. The Umbra waveset consists of complex waveforms which
are best suited for dark ambient, soundscapes, athmospheres, textures and rather experimental sounds. The Umbra waveset can be used also with STS-26 and ProtoPlasm21 and other sf2 compatible apps. As of STS-26 and ProtoPlasm 21 it is recommeded not to load it into all slots as sound might get too fat then.
